meeps! I remember "The Devil Wears Prada" 's soundtracks are not scores =(. Lol

And 2 last tracks of "The Notting Hill" 's are scores and they are really touching. Love 'em!

In my opinion, scores soundtracks are the best

lol @ Robocop. bzzzt. bzzzt. bzzzt. Hold! bzzzt. You...are...under...arrest.

How could I have forgotten the diabolic composed Reqiuem score. The Kronos Quartet knew the drug binches. Lol. And that salsa piece in it. This certianly is not a nice score to put up on a romantic evening, hahah.

Pulp Fiction is classic example of Tarantino's sampling and mixtape vision. A collection of songs that has been accepted by a generation beyond it, becoming popculture.

Trainspotting. Born Slippy just does it.

Romeo & Juliet had all the numer one hits. Young Hearts Run free is my youth like 3t, Backstreet Boys & the Spice Girls

For Snatch & Lock Stock applies the same as Pulp Fiction.

Gary Jules did the cover for that. You know they actuallly wanted to use U2's MLK for the ending. But they did not agree or something. So they did Mad World instead.

And if you want to score the score hit me up.

Now I don't know if that's either good or bad. Soap series accentuate alot, and so do romantic comedies. It's more like you have to find the right approach to a situation.

But I would have to give the soundtrack a listen.

Just reminds me. I always try to get the music from The L Word series. There's always a few interesting tracks between that one. Like Francis Faye & Her Friends:
I know a guy named Joey
Joey goes with Moey
Moey goes with Jamie
And Jamie goes with Sadie
And Sadie goes with Abie
And Abie goes with Davy
And Davy goes with Howard
And Howard goes with Charlotte
And Charlotte goes with Shirley
And Shirley goes with Pearly
And Pearly goes with Yetta
What a drag, what a drag
I'm not mad
I'm too hip to get mad....

Awesome movies, Pulp Fiction also but these 2 are way up there.

I like the soundtrack of Once upon a time in the West a lot and also Farscape [tv show, oh well]...

Itty Bitty Titty Committee soundtrack is my latest discovery. It has stuff like Le Tigre, Peaches and Riot Grrrl movement bands on it. Really cool.

Yeah, Requiem for a Dream is genious, and so is the Romeo + Juliet one, both of them.

I didn't know, I'm glad they went with Mad World. And I have realised, thanks to that track, that I love basically everything Tears for Fears made. I already downloaded the score, thank you very much.

Bah, of course soaps + romantic comedies do that, but I like the subtile and unobstrusive way it was done at 28 Weeks Later.
Of course, at the romantic comedies there's a soundtrack that accentuates all, but their mostly not composed in an subtile and, therefore, interesting way.

That's why I like that soundtrack.

HANS ZIMMER RULES. I love his work on the Pearl Harbor soundtrack, it's just fuggen beautiful. Also love his works on The Lion King and A League of Their Own.

My favourite composer right now is Joe Hisashi, who is most commonly known to do scores for Hayao Miyazaki films. I'm extremely impressed, with one song in particular, called 'Lady Eboshi' from the Princess Mononoke soundtrack he composed a piece from a poem. Awh and mind you, it's so beautiful and describes the character so damned well it leaves me in awe. *sigh*
