Current Interest in Nelly

I think she really does have to reconnect with her fans in some way.

The whole "she can do whatever she wants" doesn't fly with me anymore. With the internet and all, it has become a totally different fan climate with new expectations. She should take note of it. There are artists more popular and busier than Nelly who post in their own message boards, no excuse.

yeah I agree with you Andy, it's gets past a certain point after a while, although I'll still be out getting her next album the day it comes out. Just a shame she's so disinterested

I'd prefer to just forget, and remember when there's a point in remembering, rather than sitting around wishing and waiting for no point at all. I hate it when people seem offended and say OMG DON'T LOSE FAITH! Nelly doesn't need me and I don't need her. So I'll come and go as I please.

I don't personally want anything. Like I don't really care all that much for the recognition of fans or anything like that. However, when I always seem to have new Nelly fans messaging me asking me to send them stuff and asking where they can get videos etc and I have to tell them I don't really know. I could give you a few ideas but I don't really know. I'd talk to someone who is a big fan if I were you...and they're like you're a moderator on the biggest Nelly forums with all those posts and you're not a fan? And well to be honest I'm not much of a fan no. I mean sure I'm still around here and have sort of an idea what is going on with her and what not but I'm not that interested. I used to get every new live video or whatever that was posted here but I don't bother anymore because they're just all the same and boring. I'm still here cause I like all the people, I'm happy doing what I do and I used to be completely obsessed so there's still some left over to share and use to help out with.

I think I just can't get over the fact that the majority of my country don't even know she has released a second album! I'm serious. People that have her first album are like...what? She has another one? Wow I had no idea! Is it any good? Sure Australia is miles away and doesn't have a huge population but I just thought when your very first single was no.1 in a country and your album went platinum too and your old songs are still played on the radio fairly regularly in some states, you'd try to make it happen for your second album.

When her third album comes out I will buy it and if she ever tours then I will go see her but I'm not going to sit around watching every move of an artist when I'm sure I'll find out if she has a new album and she probably won't ever tour anyway so there's not much point.

There are a lot of other great artists out there who I'd prefer to give my time to as well, rather than focusing too much on one artist. I find them a lot more interesting, (for many of them) their music a lot more refreshing, their interviews and such are a LOT more interesting and un-rehearsed, and well...it's just music...I don't owe my life to them as they owe me nothing also.
