I heard I'm Like A Bird the first time and thought "she?s good" and then I heard it some more and just went ballistic it was love at first tune!!!

I first heard Nelly when ILAB came out, at the time I didn't really get ILAB, I guess you could say I was scared of what it had to say, it was so simple. So ILAB didn't really grow on me at all, I kept hearing it on the radio but it wa slike just another song, then TOTL cam eout, that was the turning point, TOTL is like the song that changed it all, it spoke to me in a way that I was ready for and willing to listen. So I got the album, listened to it a bit but not that much, like not all the songs, then I heard that she was coming here for Rumba in November of 2001, I got really excited, something inside me clicked and I listened to the CD heaps more and learnt all the lyrics. I then saw her at Rumba, I was so far back and was the only one going crazy when she was on, I hardly remember that performance except the "myself" part of SOTR, which was my favourite song on the album. The next day I went to Byron Bay for schoolies, and all I coudl think of was the performance and how amazing nelly was on stage. From then I was hooked, and haven't looked back!

The first Nelly music that I listen is Turn Off The Light, and later is Shit On The Radio (...Remember The Days) that I really like and love!
I don't have Whoa, Nelly! CD, and the Folklore CD, My friend give me! in this year, in the February! and I adore it!, One-trick Pony, Explode and For?a is my favourites!

I hear I'm like a bird somewhere and I liked it but didn't know who sang it but my interest came mostly when in portuguese press they announced her has a daughter of portuguese emigrants and started to look everything about her and the rest is history

Whoa Nelly was one of those albums that "I must buy someday..." but wasn't until after I bought Folklore that I bought it. Folklore turned me into a BIG fan!!!

I remember when "I'm Like a Bird" came out, I loved the song but it got really overplayed and I didn't go out to buy the CD cause I wasn't interested enough and I thought the album title was irritating but then I think last year, no, two years ago, my best friend was like shut the f@!k up about the album title and just listen to it so she burned it for me and the rest is history . . .
