Hmm .. I think i been a real fan when she come with maneater, but i have always loved her music and i have always loved Nelly and i have been a fan but not a serious fan, but when she come with Maneater, i been a real fan

Then I was also just 6 years old... hm... it was around 1999-2000 it came out, right? ok, I lived in France there, that's maybe why I didn't hear it.. although, I didn't listen to the radio at all when I was 6

I have known about her since the "I'm like a bird" days. I used to hate that song before. In fact, I remember being disgusted by the world music award choice of having her perform the song there
I thought she had no talent whatsoever. Then, I heard "Turn off the light" which I fell in love with. I didn't make the connection that both songs are sung by the same person until I got the "Turn off the light" single which had an acoustic version of "I'm like a bird", which made me realize that she IS talented and that I have underestimated her.
