What's your favourite music video director?

Just want to know who you guys like,since some are pretty awesome at what they do.The list is based just on some of the most famous music videos. Mines Joseph Kahn, which directed Britney's "Toxic" and Gwen's "Sweet Escape" music videos.

I like Sophie Muller. I just love when how elegant some of her videos are..








But what I really love about her videos is because her directing is so unique that you can really tell its a Sophie Muller video by the first 30 seconds of it.

here there is another vote for sophie muller... it's like that i don't know who she is ( i mean i have never seen a pic of her), but she is an excelent music video director, and the majority of the videos that she has shooted are really good... they have a good quality

I like the video cool too (specially the brunette cute gwen) and the videos hips don't lie by shakira), this love by maroon 5, don't speak by no doubt, not ready to make nice by the dixie chicks are also on my fav video's list

ah i can't forget try and turn off the light as well... both of them were directed by sophie...

and jaume de laiguana (who isn't on the poll) is a good director too, i mean he is not spectacular... but i appreciate some of the videos which he directed specially shakira's video "don't bother" and "no".... these videos were a huge flop, but it doesn't mean that i will stop to like them... but there were a lot of details in the videos which i couldn't stand the reason why he put them... like

what the hell was the car doing in the video "las de la intuicion" by shakira?

i really like sophie muller.. "Turn Off The Lights" is just a great video she is really talented i really like the video of No doubt " Don't Speak"

i like joseph kahn too.. i mean "Toxic" is awseome

and well david lachapelle is good too i liked his video of "Dirrty" or jennifers "Do It Well" is good too ..

oh please don't... Jaume de Laiguana is a TERRIBLE director, I really really hate his job, I don't know what the hell is he doing on Shakira's team

my theory: Shakira and Alejandro Sanz were caught by him doing dirty stuff, and he's blackmailing them, lol

it was this what i thought when i watched the video for the very first time and i even guessed that video was a kind of throw-back to the 80's videos...

and everyboyd know that LDLI was the main theme for seat's campaign, but i found (and i didn't change my mind yet) that the car was out of the context in the video... i mean the car wasn't doing anything there... but it wasn't only because of the car that i disliked the video...

and felo your theory is a good one but i don't think so that it's true, i believe that alejandro has a platonic passion by shakira, but his feelings have never been correspondend... oh pobre alejandro


the only video which was directed by jaume and that i find acceptable is don't bother video... this video it's around between 85% and 90% acceptable (could be worse)
