what's ur opinon about Nelly and which is a favorurite song?

To me, Nelly is symbol of musical love, she's fantastic and I will listen to her forever!

Its hard to judge her two albums which are so different.. I love every song on both of them and I dont see it as one being better and the same applies to her songs, i cant choose. I have moments of having favourite. Before it was Well Well, then it was my love grows deeper, then it was explode, then it was grass is green, then it was im like a bird and the cycle is continuing so Ive come to the conclusion that I love it all.

If ILAB would have been on Folklore i could say i like whoa and like folklore not. That the music per definition gets better when the artist gets older is bullshit of course. Nelly just picked a totally other theme for her 2nd album, and i wish she hadn?t done that. Of course she had some more experience but you cant compare the two albums, because that is "appels met peren vergelijken", =comparing apples to pears
about her personality..its good that she stands up for her background, and I can understand that if you?re portuguese, or if you?ve had problems with being a minority, she might be your hero. But for me this is not a reason to like her. If she?d been russian, all the portuguese fans might not even liked her even if she came out for her background (the russian). I dont like all people that stand for being tall. I even think many people emphasise their backgrounds so much that other people might get annoyed by it.

btw, @ the dutch/belgians: Hoe zeg je "nuchter" in het engels? En dan niet van niks gedronken hebben, maar zoals in nuchtere groningers..?

Yeah, you`re right. I think Whoa, Nelly! is a party album. Folklore is with party songs too, but it`s more thoughtful.
