Re: What's with 'The S?'

In those cases Michel I agree it is stupid. However in most cases it is necessary. So I will turn it off for the cases you stated above.

Re: What's with 'The S?'

Woohoo! Ten points to Michel!!

Now I can write 'you all' instead of it turning into 'you all' and I can be super duper gangsta, yo.

Edit: O damn, still doesn't work.

Re: What's with 'The S?'

When I talk on this board I want my words left spelt the American way, people who do not understand the american way do not need to worry what my post says becaus eit doesnt apply to them. I hate trying to talk about the resturant called "S.U.B>WAY" and haveing to see it changed to something else. I also hate when it changes M.O.M to MUM. I type the way I talk and I dont talk with british slang so therefore I dont need the shit in my post

Haha..World Wonder No.8 that I missed this thread (so far)!!
But indeed, it?s the invisible monster, the ruthless and relentless, the vicious beast, the robot.

Re: What's with 'The S?'

Yeah, but it's funny how the phrase 'the knife might j-erk up at me' changes to 'the knife might Idiot back at me' in a post by kat_4eva2....perhaps another flaw to the system?

Re: What's with 'The S?'

The robot of course can?t distinguish between different meanings of the same word.
But the worst is that it also works when it recognises a part of a word, like
lit.erature -> litreature because lit.er should be litre
and the funniest I know: when talking about the Christina, Pink, Mya etc song Lady Marmelade, which goes "Voulez vous cou.cher avec moi ce soir", it changed cou.cher to sofaer because cou.ch should be sofa

Re: What's with 'The S?'

That was prolly difficult to write down, Jan Willem...and thanks Joey, but will you shut down the entire 'system' or only for particular words?

I will shut down the "robot" for certain words only.
