Whats Goin On With Nelly????
truth to be told i really became her fan 2 weeks before i bought folklore, the thing is that i listened powerless trough her website and luv it. yeah i knew im like a bird, ....on the radio, jhahahaha in fact once i had the oportunity to buy jessicas simpson cd or nellys; damn i chose jessica, if only (that was an event i will always regret hahaha). well as i was sayin 2 weeks before she released floklore i bought whoa nelly, man what an album, then was when i regeted about the buyin hahaha.
but i dont remeber her promoting folklore the way she is doing loose now, is geffen making her? it is changed, isn it? but, why am i being such a baby about it hahahaha. PROMOTION IS GREAT, DONTCHA THINK??? |

She is on a different record label. Nelly use to be on Dreamworks, but that label ended and now she is on Geffen. It's new management, so they do things different.

Yes, Geffen is a LOT better than Dreamworks
I'm not saying that she's better in Geffen... but at least they have done such an amazing work in promoting! GEFFEN ROCKS! |

She's on a new record label, I think Chris Smith is still with her not sure, but if your on a new label, things are going to be different.

actually i dont know how but dreamworks was sold to geffenm so nelly got absorved by it which ended amazingly, geffer could have stopped nelly from making music, cause of all the folklore fiasco (altough its nellys album wich i love the most) but instead they gave her a really big chance GREAT FOR THEM, NELLY ROCKSSSSSSSSSSSS

yeah, after the folklore flop, i mean geffen took a lot of balls to really try to transform nelly into a popular music artist again.

I'm still sad about the mishandling of "Folklore." But an inevitable side-effect of the "Loose" success will be new fans diving into the back catalog and contributing to more "Folklore" sales, as well as "Whoa Nelly!"

I know , I wanted to spend the beauty of Folklore to the masses. Especially in Australia where some people think shes had like a 5 year break.
