American Lollies are the best because we are a sugar nation! lol
you definitely need to try some though esp the Hersheys Chocolates
and for the Pretzels, if you mean the really big Hot Pretezels those are awesome
they are soft dough and you can get them with cheese inside... soo good!

I wanted to add some food talk here though I'm really big into
trying new foods from different countries and such so I was wondering
if anyone has any cool national recipies to share because we have people from
all over the world on this board.
I want to share one of my favourites its dish
I learnt from this older lady from Peru I was playing Yahoo! Pool
with and it was really awesome. Checkout Arroz con Pollo
its a great dish, a little spicy and very hearty. The leftovers dont last long.

Stamppot boerenkool, not with the traditional rookworst, but with ?draadjesvlees`

Re: What's For Dinner?

I'm afraid our national dish is probably something like a meat pie and nobody hear invented it lol.

Best that I make are Indian or Asian stir fries.

Re: What's For Dinner?

haha what's an Indian stir fry, Pete? I've never heard of it!

I just made lunch, and it was eaten by other people, which is a major accomplishment! It wasn't anything exotic though, just a pasta bake. My mum knows loads of Indian recipes, I might ask her and post later if anyone's interested. I don't think anyone would know where to get the ingredients for Zambian recipes hehe. It's really good food though, I love nshima (which is eaten all over Africa and is known as pap in English I thiiink) although one of my teachers once told me it tasted like wall-paper paste haha.

Re: What's For Dinner?

Ooh yummy I love wallpaper.

I meant to have a comma after Indian pffft. Oh and aren't Indians Asian? So nerrr!

To me Indian is just curries. I guess it's like that with a lot of country's foods in other countries. All you can get from the Turkish joint is a kebab or a felafel and they don't look any different lol.

I wonder if Chinese people eat Chinese out of their best China...haha.
