Well I know some people are like me and they get obsessed with certain thing...lol like phases.

At the moment Im obsessed with the Turkish language I want to learn it so bad!

Uh..Germany well not lately..it's a constant obsession lol
Lately it's Ella Fitzgerald I think. I never enjoyed listening to her ballads but now I'm just getting addicted to her voice. I should get some music from other jazz singers too.

Farscape. It's an obsession -wanting to see the shows- that I've at least once a year. It so rocks. Claudia Black is so hot, playing the chick with gun. I love strong women [not meaning bodybuilders] - mind and body.

My alltime fav. female jazz singer is without a single doubt Billie Holiday. She's -according to my Last.fm profile- my no.2 "Overall Top Artist". Her voice is simply magnificent. Madeleine Peyroux reminds me alot of Billie. A great male jazz singer is Chet Baker, and he played the trumpet also bloody good.

Nina Simone is also grrreat. Her repertoire included jazz standards, gospel and spirituals, classical music, folk songs of diverse origin, blues, pop, songs from musicals and opera, African chants as well as her own compositions.

However my red line in music, my always returning hero is Sarah McLachlan. I have a lifetime obsession with Sarah. Thanks to Jack, hehe.
