What do you think about Nerina Pallot?
I really like a few of her songs. She seems to have darker layers to them. But what bothers me is that Fires seems to have more emotional intensity than Dear Frustrated Superstar (lol at that name!), but it doesn't have same kind of good rock beats, except maybe for Everybody's Gone To War. But it still isn't a great rock song like Alien and Patience for example, with very unique and special beats that should make Timbaland envy
 . Yet I really like say Geek Love, Mr. King and Sophia from Fires, but technically I find them poorer than her first cd, except for the lyrics, which don't make any sense in her first cd  Maybe she should work with the same producers she has for her first cd? And what's up with the single choices! I mean come on, All Good People! I wish in her 3rd cd she could combine the good features of both her first cd's, beats and rock from first, emotion and dark elements and especially lyrics from second... what do you think? |
