Hello my friends!!
I had one idea... we can put here the audio or videos of Nelly Furtado that we want with the yousendit.com, thus every fan could have his collection of Nelly + complete.

Also every fan can make a petition and if other fan have this audio or video should put here.

Hmm I think yousendit.com isn't so good...

They have a traffic limit and the files are only for 7 days online.

Yeah yousendit.com isn't that great for larger files, it is fine for small files but because some of us have not the greatest upload speeds it slows down the whole connection while trying to upload the file, there is therefore a greater risk of timeout while the file is uploading, the limit that they put on the files are also annoying as it means you have ot upload the file many times...

other than that good idea! lol

haha I have just had a few bad experiences with yousendit, it has been fine for small files but as soon as you get files that are larger it crashes so yeah I think we can find something better.

I'll give you a hint about finding Nelly Furtado videos. Some fans PM the mods to ask to send them *all* their videos. Thing is, we usually don't have the time or capability to upload all those videos. So here's the place where I get my videos. I won't explain in depth how it works because I'm not a helpdesk. This is just to get you on the way:

1. packetnews.com
-> this is a search engine that searches IRC (the chatrooms) for files. So type in "nelly furtado", adn check either "XDCC" or "FSERVE", and then hit search. The site then gives you links to the chatrooms where these files are being offered. Normally there is not much Nelly Furtado stuff around. But when she has just been on TV, there's a good chance that you might find the video there. Details on how to install & use a chat client for IRC won't be handled here (try http://www.mirc.com and read the help files.)

2. mydownloader.com
-> same thing as the first one: a search engine that searches IRC for files. Type in the box "furtado", and click the button "xdcc search". The site then gives you links to the chatrooms where that file is being offered.


So well, I have now given you guys a hint on how to search those Nelly videos / audio files. Don't PM me with questions on how exactly you can download these videos. I'm not a helpdesk. Just do like I did it: be patient, try to figure it out, and check back regularly for new files.

Also, another good hint: try to make contacts in the nelly world. If some stranger asks me to send him/her some videos, it's not very likely that this person will get them. But if someone who does the efford of talking to me on a regular basis and has something to offer me back, then I will be happy to help that person. Because I know it's not a one-way traffic. Not me giving everything tho him/her, but also the other way around. And that's something that the Nelly fans still have to learn. Trading files is not a one-way traffic.
