Very disappointing Paris show

Hello everyone,

I wanted to write to have your opinion on the Paris show .
First of all, I want to say that I am an absolute Nelly fan. This is the third time I've seen her in concert (once for every album) and I must say that the last show I went to (for Folklore)was absolutely breathtaking: that's s why I couldn't wait to see her again.
But on Saturday, I has a real shock as I was completely disappointed by her show (and worst of all: bored!).
Don't get me wrong, I still think she has loads of talent and an incredible voice, and some moments in the show were good (like Stars and Powerless), but for the rest, it felt as though she was trying to imitate all the other shows out there... Why on earth did she have all this staging??? and the dancers??? Not only was it useless, but it took out all the "Nelly" out of the show! She couldn't do anything in those dresses and completely lacked spontaneity.
I haven't lost faith in Nelly, and I still think she's a great artist. But the impression I got on Saturday was of someone who's had a little more success and trying to put on a show in a wrong way: she tried to impress visually (which I think she shoudn't AND it doesn't suit her) and not musically.l
The three other persons I went to the concert with (also Nelly fans) had the same impresssion. Were we the only ones?

I heard some same opinions to urs, it's sad, i ve been considering about this for a while, she is changing too much

but u should accept that, she can't decide everthing she does on the stage, her company and her manager... they do that and that's why we should accept her real self, it's better than reminiscing and comparing herself right now with her old self

yup, there's definitely a divide between the her new style and old. I myself will probably not attend another show anymore.

What was the point of this, Josh? You should keep this kind of 'opinion' for yourself.

Back to Topic:
I guess Nelly is focusing too much on the show, excite everyone with how she dances etc, in order to give a good show, but she forgets the most important part, to excite the audience with her music.

I think that some fans do?t face that things have to change, I know it?s sad cuz also my fav. album is Folklore and I saw her on a concert (in USA, Los Angeles) and that was freaking awesome! I?d love to see her again but I KNOW she has changed... althought i like Loose also... I?m sure I?ll enjoy the concert a lot
