Tragically Hip to perform at Stratford, Ont. music fest
STRATFORD, Ont. (CP) - Singer Nelly Furtado will headline a Labour Day weekend concert at Stratford's Ovation Music Festival.
Also on the 8th Sept lineup with Furtado are Canadian bands Hedley, Sloan and Stabilo, the festival says. Furtado's single Promiscuous is currently sitting at the top of Billboard's Hot 100 chart. The Tragically Hip will take the festival stage 9th Sept and Canadian songwriting superstars Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings perform 10th Sept. The Ovation Music Festival, now in its second year, is a three-day outdoor celebration of Canadian music. For ticket information, visit www.standingovation.ca.
