Thriller film
For the production secton of my media course we have to make the title sequence to a thriller film (2 minutes long) and I'm completely out of ideas for a plot! Everything I think of is way too complicated to actually film in about 5 weeks.
Does anyone have any have any brilliant ideas they want to share with me ? (I may even include you in the credits if its really good )Please please help! |

Re: Thriller film
Well, have you got a story yet?
Maybe we can work around that. |

Re: Thriller film
Not really
the best we managed to get was something along the lines of somebody trying to track someone down to kill basicly...and then just havin loads of shots of this person trying to find them by lookin through phone books and stuff..Our teacher said thats the sort of thing we need to do, not much acting or dialogue or anything, just something fast pace with lots of cuts to the music and that has potential to build up to a good film... |

Re: Thriller film
Hmmm, you mentioned phones, so maybe it could start off as a silhouette in a phone box at night making a call to someone he/she is going to kill, maybe saying nothing and the reciever getting startled and worried, etc. The scene can cut back and forth to the phone box and the victim's home, then one scene the killer is not there in the phone box but the phone is hanging and the victim gets annoyed and hangs up and turns around and is confronted by the killer who attacks them and it a flash the title emerges.
Not very original I know, but it what sprung to mind. ![]() |

Re: Thriller film
oo- thats better than most of the ideas we had! That would be quite easy to film too. Only problem is light... he said he didnt reccomend filming in dark because its had to get the lighting right... but I think we'll manage to get enough light.
Thanks! I'll use something like that for one of our ideas (we need 3-5 ideas) ![]() |

Re: Thriller film
You don't have to have the silhouette, you could just not show the person's shape, just a gloved hand holding the phone.
Glad I could help and good luck with the project, Jennie. ![]() |
