Went to last years Manchester concert a year to the day, Nelly was great, No she was Brilliant!
Audience was low in numbers, didn't think Nelly would return. This year Nelly surpassed herself, I'm lost for words how good she was. Pity she is so underrated, underplayed and underexposed by the rest of the music world especially in the UK just because she has a style that NO ONE can match. Dido may have been number one but she's not a patch on our Nelly! What a natural talent, so gifted it is untrue.

too true! ... she's too good for the world in general ... all respect to Dido but ... she hasn't got half on Nelly's energy or originality ... if Nelly was from the UK we'd be promoting her bigtime! Looking forward to seeing her at Hammersmith and Birmingham especially after what you've said although I saw her at Manchester before (wasn't it 2002 or have I missed a NELLY date?) and Birmingham and London and she was fantastic every time. Welcome to the boards ... stick around.

yep she was amazing in manchester, partly cause she just generally was great, and partly cause I got to hold her hand, which I haven't stopped talking about since.

The year was 2003, Nelly was booked to do the Apollo and only sold around 400 tickets so they moved the venue to the Academy What a shit house that is. I really am surprised she came back. Thank f--k she did.
Lookin forward to the next one, she is just brilliant. When is the music industry (radio stations) in the UK going to wake up to such talent. Nelly was right "shit on the radio" and it's not hers!

This time the venue was almost full.
She'll be back, even bigger next time.
