Subscribe to the Nelly News feed.

Hi Everyone, you may or may not all be aware of RSS, a technology that has been around for a long time, but has never had full support, but is gaining momentum fast. Anyway i have set up a Nelly Furtado feed, and if you subscribe to it, you will always be upto date on information regarding Nelly.

To help you understand, and help you subscribe in so many ways goto this page http://feeds.feedburner.com/nellyfurtado here you can find out all the ways to subscribe, adding to your MSN your Yahoo or even using a private News Feeder programme, upto you.

Enjoy the new system, cause i know it will become very useful, the future of the internet will be based on RSS.

Hi everyone, because of the lack of replies to this thread, im worried some people dont understand how useful RSS is. And how easy it is to implement, maybe my post was too technical, let me give some people more instructions hopefully it will make more sense.

If you are using Firefox (Download Here) then the browser already comes with an intergrated RSS viewer, but i suggest downloading an extenstion called "Sage" you can get it by clicking here Download Sage RSS Viewer As this is a better and easier to use viewer.

In firefox you will see this orange button at the bottom of the browser, this means that the site has an RSS feed. (You can see an example of this in the picture below) Click this Orange button and "ADD THE FEED".



If you dont use Firefox, and want to use an external RSS viewer, then you can download many, i suggest "Feed Demon" get it here: Download Feed Demon

My RSS feed is.

http://feeds.feedburner.com/nellyfurtado make sure you add this address for the latest nelly news.

Once you set this up, everytime there is a new piece of Nelly news, you will be notified instantly. Many sites support RSS so you dont have to have only Nelly news

I am using firefox and apparently the extension to.

When you are in firefox, goto "Tools > Sage" to activate sage, you can also add it to your toolbar if you want.

Do you have to have thw window up on the left hand side of the FF window to be notified or will it still running if i close that?

You have to open it, then press the recycle looking button and it will then check all your feeds for updates, and then make the new ones bold.

ah ok so that side window thing has to be there, it is so big! lol
