Erm, don't hit me in the face but I have to say that I enjoy smoking very much. Occasionally I can't even stand the smell of cigarettes (when I'm hungover) and won't smoke for days, but it passes quickly. Menthol cigarettes are the best.

Oh and I don't smoke around those people who don't smoke.

That's a classic! I'm sure everyone says that in every office. Dunno about your office, but here the ones that don't smoke just spend more time making tea and chatting with others, so they are ignored

this month i'm having nursery education in the hospital, (because doctors need to communicate better with the nurses..), at the Oncology department. I wish i could have every smoker take a visit there and i could push their faces onto the tumors and let em try radiotherapy and cytostatica...but of course, I'm not allowed. The patient would not like it.
Of course, cancer is not always due to the patients behaviour in the past (like smoking, drinking etc), but if it is so easy, so logical, so natural, so money-sparing to not to start smoking and thereby dramatically lowering your chance of lungcancer..i cant think why so many did start.

ps, as a med student my view on this is far from objective of course, a psychologist or filosopher might say the opposite. damn i can talk about this for hours...sorry for the speech
