My comments:
Albums:
James Blunt was really the king last year, he was everywhere! But I doubt he'll repeat this king of success.
Madonna once again shows her icon status entering the top10 year-end 2006 chart with her 2005 Confessions on a Dance Floor (again!)
Pink proves what worldwide success means even without the support of her own market.
Nelly Furtado is the comeback of the year!
Singles:
Shakira had a big smash hit, it was playing everywhere. It didnt save her english album though.
Madonna is the only artist to have two songs in the top10 along with some other girl (lol), with the smash hits Hung Up (coming from 2005 when it was also top10) and Sorry, it was a great year for her.
That 'some other girl' gave the world two smash hits, Promiscuous (one of the biggest in the US) and Maneater (a smash around the world)
