I have seen the Killers twice this summer and they rocked like hell on both occasions.
Lol, it's not just me, almost everyone I know has said the exact same thing, maybe it's not the Killers im not very farmiliar with them, i mean iv'e heard a few of their songs, but maybe their music has been drowned out by all the Razorlight, snow patroll music, which in my oppinion (and alot of people I know) sound exactly the same....so maybe that's why I think the killers sound like them.

Ok. Razorlight and Snowpatrol, that is something entirely different, I am not gonna say that they sound the same, but I do agree that there is some resemblance, however with The Kooks and The Killers these bands have nothing in common. The Kooks and The Killers don't sound alike either.
I was in the lucky circumstances to have seen all those bands mentioned live this summer and The Killers made by far the most impact.

Re: Rock\Alternative Bands

Probably yeah quite alot of people like them the most. The Kooks arn't too bad actually, I like two of their songs, I dont know any of the others.
Anyway Snow Patroll and Razorlight; I'm not saying that their voices sound exactly the same, I'd say that the lead singer of Snow Patrol has a more dreary voice, than the lead singer of Razorlight. Don't get me wrong I love Razorlight's Golden touch song, and another one, leave me alone or something, but both bands songs just go oooon and oooon! Take, chasing cars by snow patroll for instance, it's just so depressing, and it drags on, and whats with the guitar riff, like strumming two strings throughout the song?

Re: Rock\Alternative Bands

Listening to The Grates at the moment, I like them a lot, I should thank Leesa for that. Without Leesa I would never have heard about The Grates.
