Martin Song Dropped From Furtado Album For Being Too 'Rocky'
6th June 2006 - World Entertainment News Network A duet with Chris Martin was dropped from Nelly Furtado's new album Loose over fears the Coldplay frontman sounded "too rocky". Bosses at Martin's record label EMI took the decision to stop the Canadian singer releasing the original version of Good Things (Come To An End) because they didn't want to alienate Coldplay fans. Furtado says, "Chris' label didn't want his voice sounding so rocky, so they said we couldn't use the song." "Now it's on the album with just me singing it." source strange reason, oh well. i do understand the "losing fans" part, look at how many of us jumped at nelly's new style haha. I am slowing beginning to love her again. i have to hate something before i love it. it's the truth.
