When I met Nelly she seemed pretty shy and in some interviews she can be a bit shy. Keep in mind many artist's are a different person once they get up on stage. Might just be my erratic thinking here but when she was singing songs like "Try" and "Picture Perfect" she would put her coat on during those songs and take it off during more upbeat songs at the concert I was at. I think that could prove she has some shyness, I even think I have an interview where Nelly herself says she's shy maybe I'll upload once I go through them and find it
