I'm a newbie here, so take it easy on me if these topics have been discussed, so here there are:
What are the meanings of the Capoeira terms in explode "Besu, yoga, jinga, joda", I think is spelled like that... What does she say on for?a when it comes the part after this "Closer to the sky, closer, way up high, closer to the sky"... I really don't get that part , I know a little portuguese cause it's kinda like spanish, btw my mother language is spanish. Neltado rules all of music!!

I wondered about that too. I looked for it on the lyrics as they've been posted but the line doesn't show up.
Listening, I thought it might be "mais per tudo seio" - which I think would translate as closer to/for my heart/breast I'm sorry, I'm just starting to learn the language and I'd be interested if one of our portuguese speaking forum colleagues could help out.......

She says " Chuva, chuvinha, vem vem ca rapaz" ..which means Rain, little rain (I know it's very weird and may not exist in english, but she says that..well, she means DRIZZLE I think..), come here boy!" .... |
