Everything that you want to know in Portuguese, you only must to put here, and we (Brasilians/Portugueses)translate!
NOTE!: Only this topic can be writting in English, cuz we will translate, if no, don't have english course!
And, if the Polishes, Germans/Austrians, Dutches, Israeans, Frenchs... Members, want to create your own topic, for teach us, they can!
But Must to be ONLY ONE topic!
P.S.: The first member that see and know how write in portuguese, is good for the topic, that translate! ok?

Now, let's learn, starting with:

Good Morning = Bom Dia
Good Afternoon = Boa Tarde
Good Evening = Boa Noite (about 19:40)
Good Nihgt = Boa Noite (about 20:00.....)
Hi = Oi
Are you good? = Tudo bom
How are you? = Como voc? est??
Nice to meet you = Prazer em conhec?-lo
What do you doing now? = O que voc? est? fazendo agora?
How is you? = Como voc? ??
What's your age/ How old are you? = Qual a sua idade/ Quantos anos voc? tem?
You are so pretty/Beautiful = Voc? ? t?o bonito/bonita, or, Voc? ? t?o lindo/linda
I like you alots, I like you so much ! = Eu gosto demais de voc?, Eu gosto muito de voc?!

P.S.: All of the translations, we try to make the maximum alike with the real translation! ok?

Re: The Portuguese Course!

This is pretty cool, because I've really been wanting to learn Portuguese because I'm really into Brazilian funk and hip-hop (ps, if anyone knows how I can order some Brazilian hip-hop vinyl, PLEASE let me know). Anyway, I have a book and a cd that teaches you Portuguese, but I haven't had time to read it. I'm gonna need to learn the Portuguese alphabet pronounciations. That helps a LOT with pronouncing the words.

Re: The Portuguese Course!

Good idea!

Portuguese sound quite like Spanish. I mean, I can understand the words, in spite of all the differences. Gonna learn Portuguese!

Re: The Portuguese Course!

The Pret?rito Imperfeito,is used to tell something from the past, that hasn't ended, its incomplete.
If you say:eu ca?(pret?rito perfeito)it?s done
but if you say:eu estava caindoit's not complete.
In english it's like the Past tense continuous.
A continued state or repeated action which occurred in the past.Example:
I was watching tv when the doorbell rang.
Espero k te tenha ajudado, mas eu sei k ? complicado.
