Let me remind you that she wasn't against Britney, cause the latter changed the date. Also, Alicia appeared on every show on earth and she promoted her album like it was the secret recipe for immortality. Britney did nothing and still managed to sell 300000. Of course she could do much more than this but without promo at all (cause the VMA performance was a reason not to buy it) and a horrible public image, these numbers are impressive.

guys i think we can't compare them, because there's no possible comparison between them.. this is about two different singers who sing totally different type of songs and there's nothing in common...

well i don't know what britney have done in these days, but she have been very quiet, you know who no scandales and that stuff (and that is a good point) but if i was her , i would making promotions of the album at this very moment... despite of her awful perfomance, britney should "clean up" her own image

about alicia, i gotta say that lady always deserve to be on the top of the charts... really she does and if she had released the song no one sooner this song had become one of the smashing hits of this year
