VietNamNet Bridge - Hollywood star Angelina Jolie may come to Ho Chi Minh City tonight, March 14 or 2am of March 15 to receive her adopted child, said Nguyen Van Trung, Director of the Tam Binh Orphan Sponsor Centre.

However, Mr Trung didn’t confirm the time because Jolie’s schedule can change.

He revealed that the boy who Jolie wants to adopt is very healthy and he likes playing football. His parents abandoned him at HCM City’s Tu Du Obstetric Hospital and the Tam Binh Orphan Sponsor Centre has brought him up since 2003.

One thing that Mr Trung affirmed is after receiving the boy, Jolie will return to Tam Binh Orphan Sponsor Centre to meet with children there.

According to an anonymous source, the Hollywood actress requested related agencies to not release any information about the adopted child till all formalities are complete. Jolie is afraid that if everything doesn’t go smoothly, the child will be affected.

Mr Trung said that since 1990 nearly 600 children in Tam Binh Orphan Sponsor Centre have been adopted by foreigners. Two thirds of the adoptive parents are French. However, the number of American adopting children in Tam Binh is increasing.

It must be hard though not to be able to adopt all of those kids. I would like to adopt too after I have like two kids of my own. But I think I will find it really hard just to choose one of them, cuz that's what you do, you just choose. And that's a though decision knowing that for the one kid you choose you can provide a better life, but the rest of them you just leave behind in those circumstances.

Oh god I hate Angelina Jolie. She's always bloody adopting children, which don't get me wrong is a really nice thing to do, but there has to be a part of her that is doing it for the fame and publisity.
