Nervous for first job?

I'm going to be 16 this saturday(woohoo!) and I'm going to get a job.I got it already at my Theatre but I won't start until I'm 16.......I thought I would be nervous but I'm glad I'm goint to get a job.I also get to meet new people....I may change to a closer job though.....

haha that's really weird how when I was 16 I got a job at the theatre too! Arts and Culture Centre, you had to be 16 cause you were payed by the government. I had to rip tickets and pass out programs lmao!

Is that like yours?

I was nervous too my first day at work but you get used to it and it can be really fun, plus you'll meet new people!

nope..........I'm pretty much the cashier inside the theatre.The cashier that sells popcorn,soda,candy or whatever.The only problem I'm really gonna hate but I really don't care is that I have to say "Hello What may I get you today?"Otherwise,I can't wait 'till next Monday!I can deal with saying that all day!

I didnt get my first job till i was 18. lol, this past june. now i am 19.
i work at this store. I started as a cashier, and now I am one of the Assistant Managers.

I never looked for my first job. I got offered one. No interviews, no nothing. I worked as a teacher, then quit but during the summer my employer offered me a significant payrise and convinced me to continue working as a teacher. I'm quite happy with my work right now.

I was nervous for my first interview, not the job itself. But after 5 interviews you get the hang of it. The cooler (less nervous) you look, the better it is really. Also, I went totally unprepared to the interview of my current job, and I ended as the best candidate. Haha

I've never had a real job (once a parttime summer job) because on saturdays and in holidays I work on the farm, and my father will help me financially if I will be short of money (not happened yet, fortunately)
But I'm never nervous for the farm work, unless it's something I've never done before; I'm not the greatest forklift driver yet hehehe

My first job was easy, I was the barkeeper on a familiy party, with two of my cousins. My first "real" Job was delivering newspapers, but I hasn't much to do with the people of the firm, I only got the newspapers in front of my door and then I walked on... And in July I was sitting in a bar and the boss came to me and asked me If I want to work there in August

I was very nervous before my first work experiances... But after some, I wasn't afraid for the next ones... I was more nervous before the interviews for the Apprenticechip. But as I was there, It was ok, becuse everyone was friendley there. (At the second firm I had to go to two interviews and work a half day before they took me.)
