when she sings 'try', she sounds like an alto. but she can still hit the highter notes.

alto is like a female bass. anyway.. yeah I, too, agree that on Whoa, Nelly! nelly was MUCH much HIGHER and on Folklore (because of the baby) she wasn't.... and she also had a deeper voice hahaha

It doesn't matter to if you can't sing high
Celine Dion can sing high and well but gawd I hate her songs well I think Nelly has a weird range....she can't sing very high but neither too low or alto (sorry for the confuzzlment), which just sounds weird to me. She's on and off...I mean if you compare her to a trained singer or something. I think her range is no different from the two albums.....just that the tone of her voice changed.

One funny bastard vic.
True her voice hasnt really changed between the making of the two albums just her tone has become deeper "how baby come over here style". When nelly is live in concert she does hit some high notes.
