Nelly's new LOOSE style...

I'm in love with her musical style because she always experiments and tries different things and the outcome is great. I like her sense of style it's sophisticated and classy. She's always been confident and outgoing, but she's more so now and I like that as well. The only thing negative I have to say is that sometimes she comes across as conceited,a little to into herself (especially on stage), and yes she wants to show the world she is loving her body, she's intune with herself, and she is feeling HOT!, and that's a beautiful thing, but at times it seems like she's trying a little too hard to show us, but as I said before it's only sometimes and maybe I'm even dead wrong.

I bet Nelly decided to explore that new aspect of herself that occured to her after Nevis's birth.Sure,she's still to get the hang of it, but I think she's doing a great job. Just bear in mind that up until now she was too caught up in her freestyle, feministic, carefree self. Exploring yourself, however awkward it might seem, is a great experience for everyone, let alone artists.

I admit, I DO miss Nelly of 2001 , I DO find her new style a bit too cocky , but I'm sure she can also see that for herself and she does her best to give out her best... And, surely, wouldn't we get bored seeing the Nelly of "Whoa, Nelly!" again and again? And that's what The Black Eyed Peas say in a song: "...the whole world could use some change..." I bet Nelly could use some change too, after the admittedly low acceptance of Folklore in 2003. And Folklore was the album with the most of Nelly's soul in it. So, after that blow on her own soul, it is at least brave to attempt a U-turn in her style.

After all, we're her fans, who do we wait for to stick up for her?

(Oooh, BTW, just got my hands on her perfomance at Juno Awards, don't know which year but early in her career, she is so Nelly-ish! Hopping around, glancing at Lil' Jaz...ooh,people U gotta watch it!)

Hah, she plays with her hair too much. Her music sounds like processed pop crap, and shes more famous than she has ever been. I think it sucks ass but thats just me. Id rather listen to MIA over Britney anyday.

I don?t like her new style, for me it looks like she has sold herself to the music industry. That?s the end for the "old Nelly Furtado", we see the "new Nelly", but she lacks style and something extraordinary. She now is an artist like everyone else, I only hope that she will find her way back to what she was known for, mainly good music and not only music with beats without soul in it. Sorry, some will hate me for my words but that?s my opinion.

I love her Loose style but I loved the Folklore style too, how she talks about ethnicity and love and hurt its so beautiful now its about promiscuity < I mean thats kind of a big leap.

i love nelly's new style, she has a right to be sexy and really shes still dressing tame compared to britney and christina.

i think its unfair for people to expect her to remain the same person after all of this time, more than 5 years have past since her debut, are you the same as you were 5 years ago? hopefully not.
