Nelly's fans disappoint me

Wow interesting thread but I have to agree with everything chrome dragon had to say.I support nelly a whole lot I attend most of her functions,concerts buy any of her merchandise(cds and whatnot) I vote for anything and everything when nellys concerned and I I pratically live on her website and these message boards.True nelly does stop to chat and sign autographs for fans but hey on all accounts every artist does.I'm gratefull for Nelly,she does inspire me.Her music is off the hook but I'm not gonna lie I wish she could give more back to her superfans like post more often let us know whats the 411 on her career.I've gotta say portuguese people are very affectionate but out of all the times I've seen nelly I've never seen her hug a fan the farest was a handshake or high 5(myra lol)to me seems like she's not into that at all because when she was on that show the fuse or whatever the host had to tell nelly to give this girl a hug since it was her birthday.Most artists it comes so natural to them.I dunno maybe I'm just blabbing on to much.

We do not have singles in Canada. Single sales never picked up like they did in other parts of the world, so now they don't even bother putting them on the shelves.

mmmmm....for me this topic is stupid, yeah nelly has inspire me, I learn alot of music etc... I bpught 2 albums and also 2 singles, and I love her, she's my live! but that's the way I wanna see her at live cause she means everything to me, and yeah she's good with the fans u're right in that (other artistnever interact with fans)...but also that is wath we are asking for a world tour!

I can see what everyone is saying for the expecting good concerts and good music etc, and for living in Australia we are in a slightly different circumstance. We are trying to get people to buy the Try cd single and request Try on radio and tv because that is what whether or not Nelly brings this latest tour here or not is being based on.
A lot of how an artist does here in Australia is based on their singles and how well they do on the charts, right now Try has had almost no promotion on radio or anything else for that matter (the first we saw was that comp on video hits over the weeknd). So from the point of view of people living in Australia, we need for all the Nelly fans here to go out and be proactive about buying the singles and requesting non-stop because otherwise, we can't even expect what you guys in the US and the UK and Canada and Europe expect as far as good concerts is concerned, cause the tour simply won't come here...

that's what I think about the whole single buying/requesting side of things, I know it is different o/s, and of course I expect it to be, but that is what it is here...

Nelly does heaps for us, in different ways for each person as each person that listens to her music gets something different out of it, it is a personal and intimate and different response for each and everyone of us.

But remember how awesome her BITS tour was? all I want is to be able to see Folklore played live. So in order for me to be able to reach that goal, I need to do what I can, in requesting and emailing and buying Try, cause without all that, there is little to no chance of the Come As You Are Tour coming down here to Aussie Land!

This topic is stupid... nelly's fans do plenty for her... god... more then she does for us... there are different levels of "fandom" and not everyone is gonna bust their ass to do everything they can to support nelly... that is just life... I think there are plenty of fans doing their part and honestly for someone who is such a die hard themselves should just be quiet. just cause you don't think everyone is doing as much as you... too bad... get over it...

oh and in the us, singles are like unheard of... no one buys singles here! they are almost impossible to find anyway... we have to buy import singles. like every us fan is gonna spend 8-10 bucks on an import single (I have, but I am a die hard and en exception)

get over it and stop insulting the general fan!

I'm talking about the fans that I know, as they're the only ones that I can really speak about, as I don't know every single fan out there.
So I'm talking about the Australian ones. And a lot of them don't bother requesting or buying her singles. I'm talking about the fans who declare their undying love for Nelly, and say how grateful they are for hermusic and what she's done for them.

So don't talk shit you have no idea about CT and Chromey. Come and live in Australia and see how they're like, then give me your "This topic is stupid" opinions.
