Hello everyone, I have a quick question about Nelly's heritage. It has widely publicised that Nelly's family is from the island of Sao Miguel in the Azores, but I am wondering if anyone knows what town/village? I am from the same island and I'm wondering where her roots lay.

Her family is from the village of ponta garca.My parents are also from Sao Miguel but from the villages of ponta delgada and sao roque.

Her parents met on the Azores Islands, and later moved to Canada, which is where they got married.

Nelly is from Victoria, B. C. Canada. Her parents still live there.
My family came from Flores in the Azores. I wonder if Nelly was ever there and if so what was her impressions of the Island?
