Nelly will be on the Canadian Idol Final

Pop diva Nelly Furtado is returning to the show to perform on the September 17th finale. This is Furtado’s second appearance on the show; she offered her advice to canadian idol's Top 10 during the Canada Rocks Theme week. Joined by Season 3 Canadian Idol Melissa O'Neil and the Top 10 on the 90-minute episode, Miss Nelly will perform the Canadian television debut of her latest hit "Man-eater," which has already topped the U.K. charts
In addition to gracing the covers of numerous international magazines over the past few months, the Universal Music recording artist won three Teen Choice Awards and was nominated in three categories at the 2006 MTV Music Video Awards.
Furtado is in the midst of a whirlwind promotional tour that will take her to Japan, Australia, London, New York City, Mexico and back home to Toronto.
Nelly Furtado is an artist who represents the truly eclectic nature of Canadian music," said Susanne Boyce, CTV president of programming. "Her diverse musical background is a direct reflection of her Canadian heritage. She's a great choice to help us celebrate the end of another stellar season."
Furtado and O'Neil will join a long line-up of special guests who have performed live on the show this season including Tony Bennett, Rex Goudie, Martina McBride, Chantal Kreviazuk, Roger Hodgson, Dennis DeYoung and Cyndi Lauper.

she had some crazy back up dancing things on the go, her back up dancers were like dressed in black with white hair wigs and then the screen in the black was all black and white circles and checkerboards and it was all very cool stuff, and Nelly's hair didn't look half bad tonight jahaha! She still has the bangs but it was let down so it looked nicer!

Just watched it....by far the worst performance of Maneater I've seen. It might have been because of her heels or something, but she could NOT move at all. It was like her feet were stuck to the ground. Vocals weren't great either.
