I wouldn't put much stock in that. I can't stand the new girl on the View (her name is Elizabeth) - she's always gushing over every freakin' guest that comes her way. And good for Nelly for dodging Star Jones (not the other way around , she is sooooo anoying especially now that she got engaged

elizabeth yasbeck ( I think her name is ) is the girl who won the contest to be the new co host . @ 1st I didnt like her because she wasnt my pick , but she has grown on me. looks like she's almost as big a fan as me . lol. I think she was being genuine. with ppl on tv u can kinda tell. when there just doing regular plugging , and when they put a little bit extra in. like u can tell she has really listened to the cd. and she was giving her umpteen compliments after her performance, and that big ole hug. lol .

my schedule has changed & I don't get to watch the show as much as I used 2 so I'm happy I caught it 2 day.

hm...I wish I could agree with you but I have been able to catch the show a lot more cause my schedule is lighter and I swear to you she says that to almost every guest! She is ALWAYS gushing - to all sorts of guest "superstars" and "nonsuperstars". I really don't like her, sometimes she's okay, but most of the time she's just annoying and the gushing doesn't help. But don't worry I find Star Jones even more annoying

Now on the other hand, I did believe David Letterman's "gushing" because he really doesn't and actually often looks disinterested. And he mentioned repeatedly that he had listented to the CD that very day.
