Nelly Tour with Beyonce?..... Maybe

Sorry, Nellysman! As I have said so many times before, Nelly is a good vocalist and all. I, especially love the lyrics and messages in her songs like "Powerless" and "Try"! However, just because I am infatuated with "Nelly Furtado" doesn't mean that I am deaf!! Now, we all know full well that "Nelly Furtado" isn't the best or strongest vocalist in the world and when you compare her to someone like "Beyonce Knowles", you are likely to get burned liked a "VD Recipient". But, "Nelly Furtado" does win in the lyrics and message category. Oh, and let's not forget the beauty of "Nelly Furtado"!!! I would, ultimately" take "Nelly Furtado" over "Beyonce Knowles, anyday"!!! That's most definitely the case with me!!! Again, this is just my opinion (As well as the majority of the citizens within all regions of the "Earth" whom aren't tone-deaf), so you don't have to go crazy!! Though, you most likely will!!!

I agree with you. Nelly is the best vocalist but she can sing........... Her songs have much more meaning than Beyonce music... Even with the album Loose, she still had songs on there about life. Beyonce can sing, but she can't sangggggggggggggggggggg!!!! I'm not saying this because I do not care for the girl. But really When she sing "Listen", I do not feel any kind of emotion for that song. It does not make me feel because she yelling through the whole song.... She does not have that kind of voice to make you get into what she is singing!!!!

Nellysman I have heard Whoa Nelly and Folklore and Loose and the B-sides from Loose! You talk so much shit just shut the hell up and stop saying what you don't know. I love Nelly's voice and her music, she's beautiful, and she seems like a really nice person, I just don't think that vocally she is as good as Beyonce, but I think Nelly makes better songs.
I don't appreciate being attacked by you okay? I can tell that you love Nelly a lot and you'll probably always come to her defense, but you don't have to attack me if you don't agree with me okay, just say what you have to say without saying things like "shut that hole in your face" or "shut the fuck up".

I can definantly see why you get all defensive because I get defensive too about artists I really really like eg. Nelly, Tim, and Aaliyah, but I try not to attack people if I do happen to get defensive, but I do get really pissed if there are actual facts and someone continuously keeps ignoring them and then forms an opinion. However, in this situation it is strictly opinion. And like I said before, if you really think that Nelly is a better vocalist and you want to tell me why you think that she is. They all use vocal tricks including Nelly (esp. when I heard her in the Scared of You performance at the show). Beyonce isn't uber great either, no doubt, but her songs are more challenging to sing in many places; so I think she edges out Nelly in terms of singing ability. And I wouldn't compare Nelly's singing to Celine or X-tina either because Nelly's stuff isn't nowhere near as demanding as theirs to sing.

Nelly does sound good at most times. But that's because her music is produced to play within her strengths and limits. So it's not even worth comparing her to the more vocal-heavyweights.

WOW............Everywhere I go people get all crazy when a Beyonce topic comes up.... I agree on what Nel said!!! People sing song so they voice can match. No Nelly try to sing a Beyonce song it will not work, and If Beyonce try to sing a Nelly it still will not work. Why, Because they have different styles of singing... Like I said before Beyonce can sing, but when she sing a song like "Listen" she does not sound that great... there was to much yelling!!! Christina sucks, anybody can scream songs. My sister can out-scream Christina and sound better. You all base that assumption off of never hearing Nelly sing a Christina or Beyonce song.

Again another noob person who doesn't know what a Equalizer + voice emulator does, If I used these I could sound like whoever I want, pick any female voice and me as a male can dial in that tone with one of these things. Obviously none of you know about the recording studio trade secrets for super strength vocals. What you see on the outside isn't what you are getting on the inside, until you can see them perform those songs without a mic and in person you will see what I mean. I've heard Nelly sing in person without a mic and I can tell you she is absolutely shitting talent, especially in the high range.
