Nelly was mentioned in the first edition of MTV's Screen Magazine, twice, here in Oz.

1st: in an Article about Natasha Bedingfield:
In some cases, sections of the music press have even compared Natasha's sound to a hybrid of Gwen Stefani and Nelly Furtado - high praise indeed.

2nd: in a Natasha Bedingfield review for her album "Unwritten":
Once upon a time there was a girl called Nelly Furtado. She wrote upbeat, clever pop tunes that made you feel really heppy. Then she went somewhere and didn't come back. But we have Natasha Bedingfield now, so it's OK. With Natasha we get one hook after another in a debut that has flashes of Furtado and Pink, some gospel harmonising here, a D12 rapper there.....

Thought that was interesting, good to see they think being compared to Nelly is high praise, but pity they think Nelly went of somewhere and didn't come back.

well ppl here liked powerless and the big single here was try, ppl really liked it, I think that prolly if they did a little more with the promotion try would have been an awesome and suuupeerrr duppperrr successful single

I'm gonna stick up for Powerless, I liked that track, I felt it was like a good come back single cause it was up beat, I think the main issue was the promo stuff, but everyone knows what happened there.

as for the article, I was happy to see her mentioned and seeing that they still think that being compared to her is high praise.
