Is Nelly a mediocre singer?

Why so many people think that she can't sing?

well i don't think so seriously... but it's obvious there are a lot of people who neither appreciate nelly's song nor nelly as herself...

nelly cannot please everybody, i mean nobody can't (that's different), cuz everybody have their own haters and sympathizers... and guys i think we should only ignore this kind of comments, because as dennis has said (he has said it right) we can find all the worst words that we can say about someone on net.... that's not a big deal

because it won't be those comments that will make me leave nelly furtado behind i won't let to "admire" her just because of a punch of silly and nonsensical comments like "nelly you sucks, you don't know to sing at all"

Didn't you people saw what happend to Makin A Scene ?
People started tellin it's a vid that tells people beeing gay is cool and that you should be gay, and Pastel Supernove quoted by herself(she has a personal acount on Youtube) and then I told that it was stupid too <3 YouTube comments are very many times haters; like people say, don't care for the comment, then you'll have sleepless nights ...

Nelly doesn't dance as Britney Spears
Nelly doesn't sing as Christina Aguilera
Nelly doesn't play Guitar as Avril Lavigne
Nelly doesn't play piano as Alicia Keys
Nelly doesn't speak spanish as Shakira
Nelly doesn't speak portugues as Mariza
Nelly doesn't write as Mary J. Blige

But she can do everything they do in just one person. She can be everything what they are in just one person. Is that good? I Guess so! If I were an artist, I would like to be like Nelly - She dances, she writes, she sings, she produces, she plays, she speaks three languages.

I'm pround of being fan of her work and her personality!

dont take those kinda comments seriously, i've met plenty of rocker type people, i've grew up with them, and most of them seem pretty ignorant tawards other styles of music, and dont like anythign exept for the style of music that they listen to. Nelly could be the best singer to ever walk the Earth, but a die hard rock fan would most likely still say she sucked just becouse of the music she sings.
