Nelly Furtado rocks! Any other female artists you enjoy?
Is there any other female artists that everyone enjoys that are similar to Nelly Furtado, or not at all similar, lol.
For me, there are just so many to name, i love a lot of artists. I've been listening to a lot of Rachel McGoye lately. She's not as pop as Nelly, but her voice is just so sweet, very colbie caillat/Fiona Apple. |

Similar... I guess Natasha Bedingfield always comes second to Nelly in my book. Her lyrics and upbeat songs always remind me of Whoa, Nelly! And also Stacie Orrico reminds me of Nelly, her lyrics are deep. Not as well-crafted as Nelly's, but very cool. She's a Christian singer, so you can imagine there's some depth there.
And of recently, I've been falling in love with Canadian musicians: Feist, Tegan and Sara...

Well, I always say that Nelly is one of a kind because so far there's no other female artist who has songs like the ones she sang.
My other favourite females are: Natalie Imbruglia, Delta Goodrem & KT Tunstall.... sometimes Dido, Shania Twain & Melanie C.

Amy Winehouse!!! she is amazing!!! And Lily Allen too!! they have this magic in her voices that really drives me crazy!!! woohoo!!! it'll be great if Lily or Amy do a song with Nelly!! an amazing fusion!

I Love Stacie Orrico. Think she's great , back in 2003/04 when she was releasing 'Stuck' and 'More to life' they were great tunes for her, i had her album and a few of her singles.
would love to hear more new stuff from her.
