Nelly Furtado To Perform At Ovation Music Festival - 8th September!

NELLY FURTADO TO PERFORM FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE OVATION MUSIC FESTIVAL IN STRATFORD!

The Ovation Music Festival has confirmed that Canada's International pop sensation, Nelly Furtado will be headlining the Friday, 8th September performance in Stratford, Ontario, CANADA as part of it?s three-day weekend of Canadian music.

Her new CD Loose debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart and the Canadian and U.S. Nielsen SoundScan charts. Her single "Promiscuous" is competing for No. 1 spot in Canada and the U.S. for the past month while yet another single, "Maneater" is No. 1 in the U.K.

Furtado came to fame in 2000 with the release of her debut album "Whoa, Nelly!," selling over 6 million copies worldwide, it featured the Grammy Award-winning single "I'm Like a Bird" and "Turn off the Light". In 2003 Furtado released her sophomore album "Folklore" and although it was not as successful as "Whoa, Nelly!," it still managed to hit platinum in 2 countries and gold in over 5 other countries, including USA, UK and The Netherlands.
