Man, I feel blessed to have seen Nelly 3 consecutive days, the concert on wednesday, leno on thursday and a few hours ago at the apple shop in santa monica.. The performance earlier today topped off my "nelly week". It was so cool.. First off I wanna say thanks to Sandy (portugeeqn) and Deb for hooking it up with a spot in line. Especially Sandy cause she talked me into going cause I didn't think I would make it in time cause I got off of work at 5:00 and u know how LA traffic is.. Anyways what a dope set Nelly did, all acoustic!!! She sang "The Grass is Green", "Explode", "Try", "Powerless", and "I'm like a Bird".. Lol, Nelly was so funny cause after Powerless, she paused for a while and said something like "okay this is my encore, so u gotta cheer really loud" and then did "I'm like a bird".. The shop was jam packed, and fortunately I was fairly close to Nelly and the band, which only consisted of her, Jasmine, Dean, and the other guitarist I can't think of the name right now, sorry.. But again, Nelly made my day, what a cool person she is!! Oh yeah, afterwards I asked Jasmine if she would take a picture with me and she did!! dang what a hottie she is..
