Re: Music Recommendations/News

Recently released..*searches every inch of his room looking for recent music*..nope, don't have any! I'm starting to like Chopin more and more, perhaps even more than Beethoven..is anyone else interested in classical music? Well I know someone who is, but she thinks I'm faking that I like classical music in a very ultra-tactical way only to retrieve rally instructions in Finnish

edit: and be quick; soon this thread will be all about pop music

pp music, pp music, pp music, pp music

Re: Music Recommendations/News

I like the mixes of Colombian rythms with another ones, I posted this one in the spanish forum, and anyone liked it, I know you're not gonna like it either but I'll post it anyway

It's a venezuelan pop/protest/funky band, and singing with a Colombian one of cumbia

yeah ivete sangalo is great, i like her too... and she is very very succesful in Portugal... i think she is one of most succesful brazilian singers here... and she deserves all this success cuz she is truely talented, beautiful and kind woman...

her concerts at rock in rio 2004, 2006 in Lisbon were awesome., but she has such inexhaustible and contagious energy...

she is the image of Brazil

I think I suspect who that might be

I don't know much about classical music, but I've taken time to listen to Vivaldi's Four Seasons and I really like it. And I have a Tchaikovsky CD cause I love The Nutcracker, but I guess you could call that the most "mainstream" classical music. Recommendations will always be appreciated.

Re: Music Recommendations/News

Oh that counts for me too, in fact I've downloaded almost all the music I have or bought it in mainstream cd shops. But then again, since commercialism and things like that didn't play any role in classical music, the reason that pieces became mainstream was probably because they are so beautiful (in the ear of the beholder)
I have Chopin's first piano concert on CD played by Ida Czernecka, and love (t)his version ten times more than any video I can find on Youtube..unfortunately

Re: Music Recommendations/News

What about classical creepy music?

Like Carl Orff's Carmina Burana?

Oh Fortuna is the best example of a mainstream classical track, used now in every single horror movie

Now that I realise, I've already created a thread with this same idea weeks ago....

It was called Your Most Recent Mussical Obsession, and it was for that, to advertise or just talk about the bands you like (or singers also), and recently fell in love with.
