awesome awesome awesome!!!
it took us about 3 and a half hours to get there because there was a lot of traffic and we got there around 1ish. then to make a long story short we waited for about 4 hours in the cold freezing rain and talked to the band members whenever they would come out untill nelly pulled up a big van from the hotel she was staying at. it was just me my dad and my sister out there waiting and she gets off and coming over and hugs us and says " I know you guys" which is awesome she remembered us and we took pics with her snd she wasn't in a hurry cause she was like you might want to turn th flash on incase the picture didn't come out lol and she was talking to us about how this was our 7th time seeing her and we told her congratulations on her baby Nevis and she was like thank you thank u and told us she hopes we enjoy the show. but I'm such an ass I had my our cds right in my purse and didn't even ask her to sign them . then we talked to dean and went inside for the show.
the opening act was good but they sang a lot of slow songs and I don't think people were feeling them too much. then finally nelly came out and sand one trick pony and I was ready to stand up but no one else was and I was like are we like not allowed so 2 more song go by and still no one was standing and I started feeling bad like why is no one standing? all I have to say is the crowd sucked at the begining. so me and my sister were like screw them we're getting up and as soon as we did everyone got up an nelly was like "yeah guys feel free to do what you want". so then everyone was dancing and having fun and nelly put on one of the best shows I've ever seen. it was amazing. then after the show my voice was gone I was screaming so much lol and I got nelly's pick she was playing with and I met chris and them from sotr.com and the 2 girls I met in cleveland when they came down for a nelly show.
but then I really felt bad when nelly wasn't coming out after the show she was just leaving because she was really upset and disappointed with the show. people I think don't realise that nelly is a person just like everyone else and has feelings and they get hurt. I hope she had an awesome show tonight in dc and I'm trying to go to the philly show cause the shows amazing and I really want to see it again. people should defiantly go if she's anywhere close.

oh and I took pics alone with the ones chris has which are awesome but I was supposed to have 57 pics but only 16 came out cause the guy fucked them up he said they were blank but I have the negatives and I see nelly in everyone so I'll be going back and getting reprints by someone else.

I think the crowd wasn't into it much because a lot of them probably walked in off the street and weren't even (big) fans. I bought my tickets the morning of the show and STILL got row F right. Everyone else behind me was probably just looking for something to do on a Saturday night. Also, it's a college town, so the crowd seemed older overall than the one in chicago.

That's my 2 cents.

How do you know that she thought she had a bad show?

I thought it was an amazing show, I only liked her a bit before it now I'm just hooked.
She definitely made a fan out of me, If anything she would be making people feel it was a bad show when you
wait outside in the freezing rain for 2 hours to just say HI! and you don't even get a wave bye.

about your pics and negatives...it sux ..when I went to nellys concert..after the show I took pics of her..she was so nice and kind..but...I took them too close ..so they are so blur ..damn!!
