The making of thriller vhs became the biggest selling muisc video ever. MJ won a record 13 grammy nominations and won a record 8 grammy awards. His concert tour victory with his brothers the jacksons became the biggest selling tour any group had ever done(yea even the beatles)

1987: his third album bad was released, debuted at number 1. It was the first album in history to have 5 number 1s off one album. Bad also became the second biggest selling album of all time behind thriller for a short period of time. His bad world tour was the biggest selling tour of all time at that point. He was making a million dollars a show. Mj got a endorsement deal with pepsi that was the biggest endorsement deal ever. His vhs video release moonwalker became the biggest selling music video of all time kicking thriller to the curb.

1991: He released his fourth album dangerous debuted at number 1. He released the video for black or white, black or white was the most watched video in history. 500,000 people tuned in to watch the video premiere. His concert tour dangerous aired on hbo and it gave hbo the highest cable rating in history.

1995: He released his 5th album, double cd history. It debuted at number 1 and sold 15 million worldwide. The scream video with his sister janet became the most expensive video ever. History album was the biggest selling double disc album of all time(yes it's true) His song you are not alone was the first single in history of music to debut at number 1. His video for earth song became the most requested video of that year.

1997: he released blood on the dance floor history in the mix. This album became the biggest selling remix cd of all time(yes it's true).

2001: he released his 6th full album invincible. Debuted at number 1. His song butterflies went to number 2 on the r&b charts with no official release and no promotion.

All of that is not even including all the success he had with the jackson 5 and the jacksons. Now people the media tries to take away from what he has done, that's why you never hear about that. Not to mention he in the guiness book of world records for supporting the most childrens charities. No one should have anything to say about mj he's sweet and loving. Personally I don't really think he's a bad person and is guilty, but there's definitely grounds for an investigation and whatever has followed...why the hell should he be treated differently to anyone else? Who gives a shit how many albums he's released. If children claim he molested them then he should damn well be trialed.

A pedophile does not molest 2 kids in 10 years. A pedophile molest 100s of children in there life time if they are able to do it. Don't you think hundreds and hundreds of children would have come forward by now? What you all are doing is saying he's guilty before you even know what's goin on. People force michael jackson to be weird because they always hound him puttin him in magazines. If you grew up in front of people on tv you would not know how to act around people niether. On top of that he's extremly shy(not on stage of course).

I did say I don't think he's guilty. Personally I think the kids who've come forward don't sound too convincing, but omg open your eyes! It doesn't matter. You can't just look at him and say yeah I think he's innocent so all the charges are dropped. Do you realise how many paedophiles there are out there who have commited the act countless times and none have ever been discovered? There must be soooo many. The fact of the matter is these are very young and impressionable children who tend to be underpriveleged in some way and so it's unlikely that they would come forward. The accusations are for statutory rape, which means the children are considered too young for their consent to matter. This means they could all have been thrilled, but the law doesn't see it that way. So many children who have been in such situations would never want to come forward, so if some do then it must be taken very seriously. Imagine for a moment if you or I had been a victim of rape against our will and when we spoke out everybody said nooo he's a nice guy...he wrote an album. Just ignore the kid. It cannot be ignored.

Once again I'd like to point out that I've seen all those tv specials about him where they try to convince us all he's a paedophile and a horrible person and I just cannot be convinced. However, I'm sure you know a lot about him and know just how bad his childhood was. He doesn't just become the way he is now from lots of media attention. Plenty of people cope with the media. He has many many issues pretty much all caused by his father.

Also I'd just like to clarify that a paedophile is one who has sexual relations with someone under the age of sexual consent. Like I said they may be quite willing but the law does not see it that way. So this may have happened twice and the person may not be bad at all. Just because they're branded the word paedophile doesn't mean they have to have molested hundreds of children.

MJ was extremely good during his first two solo albuns, then he was good till the HIStory album (although he was starting to repeat himself)... after that he lost his inspiration and magic touch to write good songs.

He's unique, over the top, he's a 'self-proclaimed king', but let's see how this sad scandal affects his career/life.

I think they should just leave him alone. When those kids' parents take them to his house, they know what could possibly happen. And they know what he has been accused of doing. To me, MJ is a 12-year-old trapped in a 40-something-year-old's body.

There's no excuse for it, it's not the parents fault, it is always the person commiting the crime's fault! (If he is commiting the crime), I don't see what his status as "Michael Jackson" has to do with anything. I totally agree he is a 12 yr old trapped in a 40 yr olds body, but if he is guilty, he needs to be stopped/put away/punished/whatever else they do to paedophiles in prison

you're talking about someone who has lots of money and can keep people quiet for the right price. Not to mention kids don't tell when they've been molested cause they feel like they are at fault.

Have they tried a lie detector test on him? I know that's not always accurate but it might be helpful.
