Martinho da Vila is a Brazilian singer with some success in Portugal in the carnivall. In a Portuguese Newspaper (24horas), he said that he wanted to do a song with the Portuguese-Canadian. One of this his goals, it is to teach Nelly to speak well in Portuguese and with a good acent/pronuncition. he forget that Nelly speaks "Portuguese of Azores" and that this Portuguese one has words different from the Portuguese from Portugal, and consequently, of the Portuguese Brasil as well. Finally, it is my rioted comment.

I dont like him, his music for me is nothing, but he wants to sing with Nelly!!! Can be similar...Caetano Veloso sings with her, and I dont like him.... The music can be so good, and with all Nelly can come to Brasil again! and more times!!!!!!!!!

Yes, Nelly makes grammar mistakes and of goods of the words, but they are not mistakes like this very serious, because when she doesn't know, she remembers Spanish words and her is guided. On her accent, he already killed himself

btw i guess everybody has an accent, especially because the azores are islands and so far off the coast. In my dialect, which was in early days a real language (Niedersaksisch) every village here has its own words and pronounciations, and its just a few km to the next village lol
