We're all fundamently flawed, we're all human - we make stupid mistakes + fuck up, it's what makes us who we are. If we didn't then life + love would be so boring + frustrating, perfection isn't all it's cracked up to be. People thrive on familiarity, for example, if all the relationships you've been in have been full of tension + fights + then you suddenly find yourself in a relationship w/out any of that, then you'll feel uncomfortable, out of your depth, y'know? You might even start to pick fights or w/e jsut so you know where you stand kinda thing. Love, to me, is comfort. Like, if I love someone, wether friends or more, the thing that makes me happiest is knowing that someone is there for me through everything, w/e happens, the feeling that somone knows you, faults + all, it's amazing - there's nothing like it
