Did anyone watch the premiere of this tonight? It's the new show by JJ Abrams, creator of the most glorious show since Buffy, Alias, and of Felicity, of course. Holy shit, I tivoed it and just watched it and am really fucking freaked out. I don't think it's a long running show, I think it's more like a miniseries that'll be on until January when they (gasp!) actually start season 4 of Alias. Anyway, it was a really really good, super suspenseful pilot episode. The show's about this group of people, 48 in all, who are trapped on this island after this terrifying plane crash. So they not only have to survive without resources or help (because they're 1000 miles off their scheduled route because the capitans had tried to make an emergency landing when the radio went dead, before the plane crashed) but they have to survive this insane creature that is freaking huge and just like eats people. My heart was racing the whole time and there are abunch of goodlooking people in the cast like Matthew Fox from party of five and this hot girl and one of the LOTR guys. So I recommend all of you to watch it, it's on Wednesdays at 8 I believe on ABC. Might as well watch it anyway, it's not like I'll ever get to see Alias again considering ABC is a huge huge douche monkey.

Haha I might download it and have a look. The plot sure sounds corny and overdone but I suppose most shows are these days anyway. You said "and this hot girl" so that's gotta be at least a slightly good reason to watch it haha.

I liked it.. But the Alias pilot episode is still the Best plot ever..
+ Even if it's good and do fine in the ratings.. This serie custs too much money for ABC..(The pilot was 10 million dollars).. I think Lost will not long too much if it will not get a huge rating success..


JJ Abrams is a very busy man..! He created the successful (but not so good) serie Felicity.. Now he is producing Lost.. Next season he will have 3 more series on Tv.. the drama Six Degrees on WB.. and The Catch on ABC.. The comedy Pros and Cons on ABC.. and he will direct the movie Mission Impossible 3 with Tom Cruise.. (The writers for this movie are also from Alias)

I missed it cause I was out to dinner. I can't see how they can make a whole season for this show but I really wanted to see the first episode.

I'm sort of confused about the duration of the show . . . cause I thought it was just like a mini series thing, while JJ's not busy with alias, but is it like a real thing? as in more than one season? and holy shit, 10 million for the premiere?!!?!

Yeah.. it's a real thing.. JJ Abrams must have the storyline already for the 1st season and maybe even for the 2nd season..
But as we all know.. ABC sux and love to cancel shows..

I hate that ABC cancel good shows
