She was off the top 30 for a couple of weeks, now she's back up to number 5 out of the top 100 downloaded songs of the day...YAY. I bet that was the muchmusic publicity. She still hasn't made the top 10 on the US site, and no sign on Maneater on the UK one either, but yay for Canada!! hehe. AND she's #3 on the pop chart, just behind Shakira and Rihanna. YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!

In the UK, the charts have changed a bit. Download sales of singles can chart in the Top 40 UK singles, but only the week before the CD single is released in stores. If download singles are released BEFORE the week prior to the CD single's released, their sales don't contribute at all to the chart position.

It's now possible for a song, in the UK, to go to Number 1 in the singles chart JUST ON DOWNLOAD SALES ALONE! Our current No. 1, Crazy, when Number 1 like that. Rihanna recently entered Top 5 on iTunes sales alone.

As the chart companies want to get a good chart position, they're not going to release the song until the week before the CD release (or during the same week).

But I have a feeling the song won't go Top 10 anyway. She's been heavily criticised for "selling out", and people don't like the song anyway.

I expect a big jump next week in the billboard HOT 100.Top 30 is sure but it might also be a TOP 20.This song will be number 1.it is just a matter of weeks
