HATER! Nellys's Loose Albulm wouldn't be what it is withouth his help and influence, same goes for Justin Timberlake. He may have sampled some beats but all pruducers do that. Look at Kayne all his stuff is sampled from 80['s songs, hardly any of his work is orignal. I love Timberland, i think he is better than Scott Storch hands down!

The "Top 40 Billboard/Hot 100" doesn't always determine who is a great "artist", "musician", or "producer" by any means. That just shows who has the most appeal. "Timbaland" was at his greatest, in my opinion, when he was more obscure to the media (AKA when Aaliyah was alive and maybe a few years following those years while working with best friend, "Missy Misdemeanor" Elliott"). During those times he talked less and produced more. If he did decide to let something come out of his mouth, it was always humble. Never this crap like, "I'm the Kings of Beats!", and "No One's Iller Than Timbo!", and yadayadayadaya!!! NO! But, those days have gone to past, now. Sad, innit?

^ yes I agree with you all the way! But I think he is being cocky because for the last few years people have been talking badly about him ie. Scott Storch. He ignored it and eventually he got fed up. Now he's behaving the way he is and as he said "practicing his trash talking". I think it's because he doesn't want people to walk all over him again. Inside I still think he's a good person and he's still nice, it's just the cocky attitude and the things he says that goes along with it I can't stand! I really miss the way he was before and his producing was better.

I do understand why he had to change his production style, he realised record labels care about sales, artists are putting their careers in your hands expecting you to deliver. When the artists on BeatClub didn't sell, Jimmy Iovine (also Nelly's boss) took the label away from him and closed it. All those artists have had to start over and are still struggling, it was a big let down for them and for him. I don't think he wants to put people through that situation again so he's being careful this time around. I guess he figured well maybe my style isn't working anymore, I still want to be different and go left, but don't do things that wont appeal to a lot of people and keep them distant.

Tim's not really had this much attention or been really this mainstream until last year. He's been called a sellout by some people though I don't think so. He's always been more acclaimed for quality and versatility and he doesn't have as many #1 hits as you would think, he has songs that have charted well though. He has about 12 albums he's produced that have gone platinum or better.

It was immature when I first started this thread, I'll admit that. But, even still. I have tried to use a more mature approach when addressing this situation.....at least that was what had been intended.....
