I met Nelly today!! :D

Hey guys,

You all know that Nelly's in Portugal this week. So, today she went to sign 'Loose' copies at the Worten Mega Store in Lisbon, and I fortunately had the chance to meet - and talk to - her. She was so gorgeous and nice to me!

I asked her if she knew BITS and she vehemently nodded and said 'Of course I do!'. Haha then I told her how much we all - well, most of us - love her here and support her work. I also assured Nelly we will continue doing so. She seemed to be really interested and we kept talking until someone from her staff told me it was time to go, haha. Well, there was still a moment when I told her how overwhelming her performance of Maneater at the EMAs had been and she went like 'Really?? Was it your favourite?'. And I obviously said 'Yeees'.

Then it was time to leave and, instead of saying 'It was nice to meet you!!' she just told me to say hi to Joey, haha.

Oh I also handed her a card with the name of the site and some instructions on what to do if she ever decides to come online and post here. And when I was about to leave I almost took the card with me and Nelly was like 'Oh, aren't we supposed to keep that?'. Haha I was quite nervous.

AWESOME story! That's so great to hear....she does look stunning right now with her hair that way. It's awesome to see an artist care so much about her fans. Hope she decides to pop by one day!

Haha yeah, I myself wasn't even sure as to whether or not I should go to that autograph session today, but I'm really glad I decided to go.

Wow!!! I'm sure everyone here is jealous of you. That must have been awesome. I've seen her in person myself when she performed at the MuchMusic Video awards back in June and another time when she stopped by MuchMusic during the Folklore album for an "Intimate & Interactive special" but I haven't talked to her personally though.
