Re: Harry Potter & The Goblet Of Fire

saw it last night and really enjoyed it ... purists will probably be upset with the plot changes ... and the absence of Dobby, Winky (and therefore SPEW) and others but .. if you can accept this then you'll really enjoy it .. the special effects were great .. especially the dragon chasing Harry over the Hogwarts rooftops ... it does rattle along at a fast pace tho' and you can't help wishing they'd taken longer and split the film into two. I was really looking forward to seeing Winky but all in all it was great

Re: Harry Potter & The Goblet Of Fire

Yeah, they've cut a LOT out from the book, I wish they'd kept the whole S.P.E.W part in and just made the film longer! But overall they did a good job considering how long the book is.

Re: Harry Potter & The Goblet Of Fire

It hasn't been released here in Australia yet (1st December) but I have completely amped myself up for it. Seen lots of screencaps and have creamed myself (sorry for the crudeness, but it's true ) multiple times.

..WHAT?! They left out S.P.E.W?! Damnit! And apparently Narcissa Malfoy isn't in the movie either? I was also fairly disappointed in the people who play Viktor Krum, Cedric Diggory and Fleur DeLacour.. No where freaking near to what they describe in the book.. Lots of people I know seem to think that too. Viktor is meant to be uglier, Cedric hotter, and Fleur prettier. I think they're awesome, but just need to go that one bit further. Fleur looks way way hot in the poster I've seen for the movie, doing the whole dominant pose, but in the screencaps I cried.

But I am severly anticipating this movie. I got my ticket already, and I'm dressing up hardcore. And I will probably be hyperventilating throughout the whole movie.. Can't wait to see Lucius, Snape and the Weasley twins.

Re: Harry Potter & The Goblet Of Fire

I never read any of the books or saw the previous movies. Would I still like it? I was thinking of seeing it because there's nothing else out that's worth seeing

Re: Harry Potter & The Goblet Of Fire

I think I saaaw the second film. And that was for the same reason you're thinking of seeing this one Carlo, nothing else was on so whoever I was with and I thought we'd take a look. I enjoyed it, but haven't raced out to see the others or anything. I think I'd probably like them all and just about anybody would like them. They're not little kiddy movies or anything, but I think it often takes kids to really love the movies I guess. Or just a fantastic mind perhaps.
