Re: Grunge Bands
Soundgarden's Superunknown is a MUST-HAVE album for ANY grunge fan. Absolutely fantastic record. 4th of July, Limo Wreck, Black Hole Sun, every track on there just plain rocks.
Down On The Upside had some great songs itself as well. Pretty Noose, Blow Up The Outside World, Burden In My Hand.

Re: Grunge Bands
Yes, It's just that I tend to listen to more music in spanish than in english, that's why I asked you to recommend me some great bands that sing in english...

Re: Grunge Bands
And I think I have to mention the albums from Cold. Their self-titled album and 13 Ways To Bleed On Stage were great albums.

Re: Grunge Bands
Lol Vittorio I wasn't suggesting you said anything about Green Day, I just said it cos I know someone will write in this thread about Green Day being grunge or whatever.

Re: Grunge Bands
Closest thing Green Day ever got to being grunge was a little song called Brain Stew

Re: Grunge Bands
But that's on their Insomniac album, I wouldn't call that grunge.

Re: Grunge Bands
Me neither, I think anything Green Day has done could be considered as grunge...
Oh and I'm listening Alice in Chains right now, I really love it, it's simply amazing... Thanks to those that recommended it |

Re: Grunge Bands
Please don't even mention Green Day in connection with grunge. They never had anything to do with it.
Other grunge bands I used to listen to in the early 90's were Australian band "Screamfeeder"and an American band called "Flowerhead". I have one album off both bands but do not have a clue what happened to them afterwards. |
